City Transport Agency Needs Additional Crane Trucks

City administration keeps intensifying the illegal parking raid in order to overcome traffic jam. In fact, the effort is not supported with adequate automatic crane truck number.

Head of Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department, Andri Yansah said, currently, his side merely has 14 trucks. The agency needs more trucks since the raid is done everyday.

Moreover, his side targeted each trucks could able to tow 8 vehicles. This target is still reasonable due to the real condition in road which always crowded.

Meanwhile, the fine revenue of illegal parking until July 31 has reached Rp 2.7 billion and it will be kept in local treasury.

The amount is obtained from the 5,259 vehicles with a fine per vehicle on average Rp 500 thousand, which was directly paid to Bank DKI.
